About Dr. Freer
Dr. Alejandro Freer is a highly skilled specialist in Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Implant Rehabilitation, fluent in both English and Spanish. He holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Costa Rica. Dr. Freer's advanced training includes a Master's in Prosthodontics and a Fellowship in Prosthodontics from the University of Costa Rica, where he honed his expertise in restoring and enhancing dental aesthetics and function.
Additionally, he completed a prestigious Dental Implant Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States, further specializing in implantology. Dr. Freer is an esteemed member of the College of Dental Surgeons of Costa Rica, reflecting his dedication to professional excellence and patient care.

Absolutely one of the best decisions and investments I have ever made! Like so many, I was embarrassed by my smile, and did a lot of research before I selected Freer Dental. I just can't say enough about the service I received and the quality of the work performed by Doctor Freer and his entire staff! I have visited twice, and each visit was seamless, efficient, professional and even fun! Jose' and Andrea were both excellent concierges, taking care of my every need, and providing safe transportation to and from the hotel and clinic every day, even making stops for me to shop for my personal needs. Every staff member there was super friendly, professional and did a great job with communicating to me about what was going on and what to expect. Doctor Freer talked to me before the procedure and checked in on me often during both of my visits. I observed that he was very hands on, and was available to every patient throughout my stay. I call them my Freer Dental family, because of their hospitality and genuine friendly demeanors. I can't imagine going to Costa Rica without stopping in for a visit. (Andrea even let me in on the secret to the famous and delicious Costa Rican rice and beans!) The hotel was nice, and they were expecting me when I arrived. The staff there was friendly and helpful as well. It is in a very nice area in San Jose, with lots of shopping and dining opportunities within walking distance. This is a very professional clinic, and they stand behind their work and their warranty 100%. I was nervous about going out of the country for dental work, but now I can't even imagine going somewhere else for my work. I recommend them constantly to all of my family and friends that are looking for affordable and excellent dental work. I have had dentists that I know here comment on the quality of the work I had done at Freer Dental. As you can see, my story has a happy ending, as now I am not ashamed of my smile. Quite the contrary! I love showing it off!

I went to Freer Dental in March of 2024 for my first visit I'm scheduled to go back in July 2024 for my final everything I was to is true!!! The staff is amazing jose is great they literally bend over backwards to help the place is amazingly clean I highly recommend Freer Dental to everyone and costa rica is absolutely beautiful I'm hoping to see more on my next trip the local people are friendly courteous and beautiful as well I felt so peaceful and safe there as I went alone so all and all my experiences were fabulous I want to say a BIG THANK YOU too Gustavo and all the staff at Freer Dental

My name is Joseph Hamilton and I live Cape Canaveral Florida. I wanted to take a minute to tell you of my experience at Freer Dental in Costa Rica. I could not be happier for what Freer Dental did for me and it has been since February a year ago. I had upper dentures and I hated them. I couldn’t taste the food I was eating and lost 48 pounds. I knew I needed implants but in central Florida it was $53,000.00. I did hours of research and decided on Freer Dental in San Jose Costa Rica. The expense was a third of that is the USA. I watched the patient videos and was drawn to them. I went for the All on 6 procedure and it really was the best decision I’ve made for myself in many years. They have wonderful people that work there and their offices are world class. If you are in need I could not tell you a better place to put your trust in. They took care of me from landing to leaving 6 days later with beautiful new teeth. I had absolutely no pain the entire process and my teeth are perfect to this day. I weighed 174 when I arrived and today I weigh 196. I feel great for an almost 72 year old man. Watch the videos on the Freer Dental webpage and those are done within 20 minutes or less after you receiving your beautiful new teeth. Everything they say on their webpage is the absolute truth and they gave me my life back. I am thankful to them to this day. I went to freer dental bc of the reviews and him going to penn state It was a terrible expirence first they told me they could do an all on 4 in one visit, and then they also said they had a yeah, concierge service To pick me up from the airport, which was a lie because when I got there, there was no one at the airport. I had to take a cab to find the office myself. They didn’t book a room for me. They did not bring me to get my medicine. They did not bring me back to the hotel room. and then they told me they couldn’t do one. I went and got the medicine brought me back to the hotel room after my surgery and I was the only time they gave me a ride back to the hotel all the time for me to Uber back-and-forth from my hotel to them, I had to go back because implants didn’t take the top out so I had to go back and very painful not to mention the flight in the hotel stay I had to pay for that. They were not there to help me to pick me up their concierge services officially had , they were not very friendly after they receive my money so with me going there three times right now I’m sitting at a very painful situation with my implant loose and they’re trying to blame it on smoking which I quit smoking when they told me wouldn’t work if I did I do not know what they had I only saw Dr. Freer one time and when they gave me the permanent teeth, I told them they were too big and they told me that they would grow into my mouth so I bite marks out of my tongue when I went to the dentist and the United States. He said the dance with the implants are way too big the person cause they didn’t let him sit long enough, and then he would have to redo the whole thing I went to the dentist it was supposed to be. There’s only three in my mouth and on the bottom put in the bottom and the top so they should have put in eight. They only put in four and charge me the same price. What the outcome is, I’m going to post a picture of my teeth that are clearly too big for me.
